Most common storm scenarios we see in Wimbledon

After 15 years of working in this area, the patterns are predictable:

• Autumn gales (October-December) — wind-driven rain, slipped tiles, fallen branches from older trees in gardens
• Heavy snow events — snow load damage, gutter separation
• Spring storms (March-April) — heavy rain on roofs still weakened from winter

What your insurance needs from you

Most home insurance policies cover storm damage with these conditions:

• Damage must be sudden and unexpected (not wear and tear)
• You must take reasonable steps to prevent further damage (this is why emergency make-safe is so important)
• You must report the damage promptly
• You must keep damaged materials for the loss adjuster to inspect

We handle all of this for you. Just call.
